ILSF 2023: Brussels Wonders

After two years of fighting the coronavirus and in a troubled socio-political context, where the future seems uncertain, threatening and beyond the control of citizens, Brussels Wonders wishes embody a space of dreams, of discovery, but also a context where the practice of science can be perceived for what it is, a humble attempt to make, together, a sense of world around us. By taking the opposite view of a form of pessimism and immobility, the consortium decided that the central theme of the festival should be that of wonder (or in Dutch ‘verwondering’) and possibilism.
