Improving wearability and acceptance of AI-driven human-centered robotics

Project Details

Description

The AI4Exo project concerns the further development of a robotic exoskeleton intended to alleviate physical work, this through the development and implementation of advanced AI. The
project starts from existing and leading expertise present in each of the three partners, as well as existing hardware, enabling a quick start without depending
on a long design and development cycle typical in robotics research.

The project will enable the teams to greatly advance the market readiness of the robot exoskeleton and the individual underlying technologies greatly. There is a concrete path to provide return to society, specifically through 2 existing spin-offs, but also through the pursuit of better healthcare and rehabilitation, fewer work-related injuries and in generally through advances in the field of human-centred robotics.
