Project Details
Description
The goal of this project is developing a demonstrator of multiple types of sensors: traditional RGB, infrared, depth sense and acoustic sensors. Together they form a multimodel camera. First we want to show the physics of these sensors. Secondly, we want to show the sensed data and what we can do with it. We also want to make the public conscious about the limitations of current technology, but also its dangers regarding privacy.
An observator and two vehicles will be built. All of them equiped with multiple cameras of which the output will be displayed on screens. Next, the processed sensor data can be linked to actions, such as orienting the observator (two degrees of freedom: azimuth and elevation) towards a certain point (color or acoustic source) or moving the vehicles.
