The OBLC will focus on:
* Consolidate and enhance joint research on online and blended learning
* Strengthen joint research on teacher professionalization in the digital teaching and learning environment
* Enhance research collaboration on educational innovations, including research and development of MOOCs
* Establish more structured academic exchange and research mobility among the IJRG teams
* Organize research seminars and symposia focusing on the research themes of the IJRG
* Set up international joint research projects
