Project Details
Description
Based on an extensive corpus of Belgian television interviews (older and more recent, Dutch-speaking and French-speaking, broadcast by public and commercial tv stations), a thorough analysis will be made of interviewing styles and the interactive construction of meaning.
Special points of attention are the evolution of the interviewing styles through time, the framing of the topics and the structures of argumentation.
