IOF GEAR project: “Cross-KET Photonics”: B-PHOT’s third industrial innovation and valorisation wave.

Brussels Photonics (B-PHOT) is a research and innovation institute of VUB hosting more than 70 people actively striving for excellence in applied research, innovation and industrial valorisation in the exciting domain of light and light technology, also called photonics. B-PHOT operates photonics facilities that enable the design, prototyping, testing, demonstration and fabrication of optical components and systems that can innovate products in industry sectors such as agrifood, safety and security, automotive, health, lighting, energy production and many more. B-PHOT collaborates with a variety of Flemish, European, and international companies to enhance their products with the unique capabilities and functionalities that photonics can bring. B-PHOT also coordinates large-scale EU projects to support SMEs with photonics innovation services.
