The goal of this PhD work is to measure and model the behavior of nonlinear multiport systems at RF and microwave frequencies. The strategy is to extract approximate linear or idealized models that are valid for a certain fixed class of excitation signals only. This is perfectly possible in the telecommunication context where this work is to be positioned.
