Multilingual ontologicallyunderpinned transaltion dictionaries:the case of mechatronics

In this project we want to study the possibilities of compiling ontology-based multilingual translation dictionaries by means of the Termontography method. We intend to develop a prototype of an ontology-based dictionary for the automobile domain. Initially, a multilingual termbase is constructed in TRADOS MultiTerm, which is done in collaboration with four students of Erasmushogeschool. Subsequently, we examine whether we can use the Termontography Workbench in order to underpin the termbase ontologically.
