Project Details
Description
This proposed project is in several ways a much needed follow-up of a previous GOA research project 'Rethinking the Nation-State in Central Africa'. First of all, expert knowledge on Central African political and economic systems is in high demand both from an academic and a policy oriented point of view.
But also from a scientific point of view, GOA I demands a follow-up. Through several case studeies we observed this functioning and dysfunctioning in more detail, focussing on different aspects of state sovereignty and authority.
