Description
The Doctoral School component of the Flemish AI Academy enriches the existing support for researchers within Flanders, in particular PhD candidates and young postdocs, at Flemish higher education institutions (universities and colleges), Flemish research institutions and innovative companies. In addition, the integration of their research within companies and government institutions is structurally supported by giving them access to specialized training on artificial intelligence (AI).
The Continuing Education component of the Flemish AI Academy must ensure that a link is established between the existing and new offer and the need from companies, public administrations and other institutions to further training in artificial intelligence. This concerns both high-quality knowledge transfer around AI techniques and methods, as well as their applicability in specific sectors (such as services, logistics, industry 4.0, education, hospitals, etc.).
