Description

The present project wants to develop an alternative for modern bridge construction with composite pultruded profiles. The new concept for a bridge-deck is based on the interaction between classical construction elements such as slabs in reinforced and prestressed concrete, and an underlying structure wich is an assembly of sandwich panels with skins and core, produced form an inorganic phosphate cement (IPC) matrix material, in combination with external prestressed tendons in the longitudonal direction.
