Abstract:
On March 27th 2020 the Department of Business (subgroup Accounting and Auditing) is organizing the yearlyAccounting Research Day. The aim of this one day conference is to provide accounting scholars a platform to share and discuss recent research. The conference is open for academic research in all areas of accounting, including auditing, financial reporting, and management accounting and control. For the 2020 edition, we especially welcome research contributions on private firms for which a special track will be provided. Master students in Accounting and practitioners are also warmly welcomed to attend the conference. The invited keynote speaker for this event is Paul Thompson (Director of the European Federation of Accountants and Auditors for SMEs, EFAA ). The closing speech is given by an experienced practitioner (Grant Thornton).
