Project Details
Description
In VortexDiaLC a novel separation instrument will be developed that is capable of producing a full and high resolution separation of all Hb variants in one single run. The instrument is based upon newly developed technology to induce vortices in a microfluidic channel, uses plasma technology for functional coating of the channel and will develop a super-sensitive miniaturized detection module. These technologies brought together will result in a demonstrator, precursor of a new diagnostic device that can be used in the first line of diabetes care.
