Description
SAMPO represents a decisive step beyond the current state of the art in youth mental health. Whereas existing interventions remain fragmented, disorder-specific, and poorly embedded in everyday life, SAMPO delivers the first European-scale, tiered, person-centred digital programme that integrates three key innovations: the PRO e-screening tool for sensitive and scalable early detection; the PECAN person-centred algorithm, which applies network science for evidence-based personalisation; and the risk and resilience e-toolboxes, a modular suite of transdiagnostic interventions for both universal mental health promotion and selective prevention of self-harm. By
embedding these components in a tiered, digital and cross-cultural platform, SAMPO establishes a new benchmark for preventive mental health in education, training, and workplace contexts across Europe.
