The overall objective of the Exo4Work project is to design, develop and validate a smart modular exoskeleton for spinal, torso and upper limb support to assist workers, to reduce the physical load on workers, keep older workers active for a longer period of time, increase quality of work, reduce fatigue, and prevent injuries. Exo4Work proposes a novel mechatronic hardware, a new control strategy of the device and an advanced interaction with humans.
