Description
Teacher training programmes and schools become partners in the development and research of blended STEM learning materials, in light of the new attainment targets in secondary education. Under the guidance of researchers and teacher trainers, teachers learn to develop STEM learning materials and to investigate their implementation in their own classroom practice. Each time, a blended mix of what can be done digitally and what should best remain physical is created. The partnership consists of two teacher training programmes (one from a college of higher education and one from a university) and an organisation responsible for the professionalisation of teachers. The aim is to make STEM education evidence-based in secondary schools and in teacher training courses.
