Implementation, setup and development of multidimensional homonuclear and heteronuclear NMR techniques, using gradient coherence pathway selection in the general frame of investigations of structures, conformations and dynamics of biological and bioorganic compounds such as peptides, sugar and metal binding proteins, tin containing bioorganic derivatives, as well as the study of metabolic processes in glycosis (animal cells) and proline metabolism (plant genetics); frame project addressing structural questions in several areas of chemical interest at the VUB: peptide chemistry, organometallic chemistry, protein structures and plant metabolism, as well as metabolic and enzymologic questions in external partnership (Malaisse, ULB); it enabled a significant upgrade of the AMX500 spectrometer so as to make possible heteronuclear triple resonance experiments assisted by gradient pulses
