Substance use among youngsters of the Province Flemish Brabant.

In this research project, ordered by the Province Flemish Brabant, Department of welfare and health care, we will take a further step in our research concerning adolescent drug use. Based on the data from 1994 and 1998 (Brussels) and the data from this project we will detect the tendencies in drug use during the life phase of adolescence. Beside that we investigate the relationship between this risc behaviour and parenting skills. At the same time we start a longitudinal study with 300 pupils of the 4th grade of the secondary school, which will be fololowed during the next 3 years.
