The research focuses on land use and landscape in the earliest phases and during the development of towns, including medieval Antwerp (Belgium) and Brussels (Belgium) and late Bronze Age Hala Sultan Tekke (Cyprus). I apply phytolith research in combination with geoarchaeology.
