The Geopolitics of Artificial Intelligence

The research proposal on the geopolitics of AI aims to explore the impact of AI on global power shifts, by looking at the states’ efforts to access and control AI capabilities and the relationship between the public and private sectors. The research proposal aims to conduct multidisciplinary research on these topics and to develop a Geopolitics and Technology programme that can act as a hub for attracting other external funding and opportunities for collaboration with research centres and experts, both in Belgium and abroad, working on similar topics
