The impact of psycho-social factors on health.

This literature study searches for an answer on the following question :
'What is the impact of psycho-social factors on health'. The answer to this
question will be used to give scietifically motivated proposals for
(preventive) health policy. A clear definition of the question makes this
complex and elaborated field of research thus manageable.

This means that this study is aimed at the impact of risk- and protective
factors on mental health. These findings are placed against a background of
epidemiological data (prevalence-, incidence-, morbidity- and mortality
figures) about these psycho-social factors, psychiatric disorders and
psychic well-being.
