The relevance of non-classical logics for the philosophy of science, the philosophy of mathematics, and the philosophy of language.

Project Details

This project aims at bringing together the diverse expertises in the Centers for Logic and Philosophy of Science at the Universities of Ghent (Prof.dr. Diderik Batens), Brussels and Louvain (Prof.dr. Roger Vergauwen). All share an interest in non-classical logics, be it paraconsistent, ampliative, adaptive, modal, or strict finitist logics, to address problems in the philosophy of science, mathematics and language.

Results of this research are published in the logic journal 'Logique et Analyse'.
