Traditional healers in the Morroccan community in Brussels.

The aim of this research project is to explore the presence and the role of
traditional healers in the Moroccan community in Brussels. Results of other
research projects lend support to the hypothesis that many traditional
healers are offering their services in the Moroccan community in Brussels.
The idea is to organize focus group discussions with Moroccan intercultural
mediators as well as with traditional healers and representatives of
Moroccan community-based organisations. In addition, a number of health
professionals with a large group of Moroccans in their clientèle will be
interviewed.
