Project Details

Description

After a SARS-CoV-2 infection, an increasing number of patients experience persistent symptoms or residual damage such as difficulty in exerting themselves and reduced quality of life. Because COVID-19 often affects taste and appetite, weight loss combined with muscle loss is very common. The researchers hypothesise that a personalised nutritional regimen combined with a patient-centred rehabilitation programme will improve physical performance, functional capacity and quality of life in these patients.
