VUBlend: building blended education at the educational level

The VUBlend project aims to structurally embed blended learning in the curricula of study programmes at the VUB. In order to realise this, we foresee the development of policy and guidelines on blended learning and accompanying support, both in the form of a thematic support offer and in the form of decentralised support capacity (i.e. faculty education support staff). Strengthening the competencies of instructors is central to this. A team-oriented approach is paramount: support of teams by teams. All this with the strategic goal of optimising the learning experiences of students through targeted educational innovations, thus improving the quality of education.
