    Project Details

    Description

The project aims to test some hypothesis concerning: a. the moral and material conditions in which female urban migrants engage in casual or regular forms of sex work; b. the moral and material conditions that must be satisfied so that sex workers leave the 'business' and the role of the fear for AIDS-contamination in the decision to build up a new form of existence. c. the degree to which the urban trade of products cultivated in the village of origin allows female urban migrants to realize an alternative satisfactory way of life.
