Abstract
The World Trade Organization dispute settlement mechanism is facing a real systemic crisis, so reform has become a growing consensus among members, with reform of the Appellate Body being the focus. The proposal issued jointly by several members provides a comprehensive solution in terms of the appointment of judges, the duration of hearings and the content of reports.
