Abstract

The EU-China Comprehensive Strategic Partnership (EU-China Comprehensive Strategic Partnership) was established in 2003, hoping to promote the establishment of a close partner that goes beyond economics, trade and investment and can jointly help resolve global political and security issues under bilateral and multilateral frameworks. China also published a white paper on relations with the EU in the same year, which was the first white paper published by China against a foreign country. Since then, the relationship between Europe and China has been actively promoted in a friendly environment for more than ten years, and cooperation in various fields has been established.
However, in recent years, there have been great contradictions in EU-China relations, especially in the economic and trade aspects. The EU has become increasingly dissatisfied with the mainland’s failure to follow international norms and trade and investment relations based on reciprocity, fairness and balance. China puts pressure.
