Abstract

We present a model curriculum for aspect-oriented software development (AOSD) at the postgraduate level. The curriculum has been derived from practical experience of running postgraduate level courses at nine institutions across Europe, which are part of the European Network of Excellence on AOSD (AOSD-Europe). Next, we describe several concrete instantiations of the curriculum, both in a summer school context as well as in the context of (parts of ) a MSc course in universities. Finally, we relate our curriculum to the Software Engineering Body of Knowledge (SWEBOK).
