Abstract
In this episode of our podcast, we focus on the German translation of Belgian novels. The study of these translations is a way to learn more about Belgian literature and about Belgium's image abroad. In January, the study "Belgian Literatures in German Translation: Cultural and Historical Interconnections from 1945 to the Present" was published by Anja van de Pol-Tegge. She analyzes literary-cultural relations between Belgium and Germany as well as "images" of Belgium in Germany. In order to better understand the study and the object of research, we conducted an in-depth interview with Ms. Van de Pol-Tegge.
