Abstract

Introduction: The clinical course and prognosis of Brugada syndrome (BS) in elderly is unknown. It is obvious that the therapeutic management of BS in the elderly might be challenging. The purpose of this study was to investigate the clinical characteristics, the management and the prognosis of BS in an elderly population. Methods: A total of 437 patients with a diagnosis of BS were included in this study. Patients were categorized in 2 groups according to the age at the time of diagnosis:
