Abstract

This report offers a synthesis of the proceedings and discussions that took
place during the workshop "Data Transfers in the New AFSJ: Go with the Flow?
Converging and Conflicting Ethical Values in the External/Internal Security
Continuum in Europe" on 10 May 2010 at CEPS in Brussels.
Organised by the Law, Science, Technology and Society (LSTS) Research
Group of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB), in cooperation with the Justice and
Home Affairs Section at CEPS, the workshop brought together policy-makers,
civil society representatives and researchers.
