Abstract
The GEMS, the expert group that had to advise the government on corona management, has been disbanded, but its advice on the corona barometer still exists. In this contribution Marc-Antoine Gavray and Paul De Hert indicate where the absence of lawyers and philosophers in the GEMS made itself felt.
