This document will start with a brief description of the research activities completed so far. Subsequently, current and future research will be discussed. The overall goal of the doctoral research is to gain an insight in certain aspects related to innovation in the biotechnology industry, with a focus on knowledge transfer and management in SMEs, often the innovation powerhouses of the drug development industry.
