Abstract
Economic faisibility study of a modal split of palletized Fast Moving Consumer goods to the inland waterways. The study consists of three parts:
Identification of representatives of large volumes of palletized goods and performing a survey amongst them in order to capture the necessary information about these volumes.
Identification of the optimal trans-shipment locations and research the economic faisibility of a modal shift of the captured volumes.
Evaluate the impacts of different subsidy scenario's
