FIBER BRAGG GRATING INTERROGATION WITH LASER DYNAMICS

Research output: Unpublished contribution to conferencePoster

Abstract

Fiber Bragg Gratings are widely used as fiber sensors as their Bragg wavelength changes when strain is applied to the fiber or when temperature changes. When putting a semiconductor laser under optical feedback from a Fiber Bragg Grating, we can trigger various dynamical regimes that can react quickly to small changes of the Bragg wavelength. In this work, we explain our setup for investigating dynamical behavior and how it will be used for Fiber Bragg Grating sensing.
