This deliverable reports on T6.3 "Real life user research in the home on 3DTV experience and stereoscopic 3D demonstrators". In this real life user research, 17 Philips 3DTV-sets with Ambilight were placed in an equal amount of households for a period of 12 weeks, from early October to the end of December. This longitudinal approach allowed us to apply a domestication research methodology (Silverstone and Haddon, 1996). This approach aims at a critical understanding of the social uses and consequences of media and technology in everyday life (Van den Broeck, 2011), in this case 3DTV and S-3D content.
