Abstract
Herman Van San (19?? - 197?) is a composer whose works have become available only very recently, thanks to the work done by Prof. Herman Sabbe (RUG), who maintains the heritage of his works. One of these long kept jewels is his Opus Electronicum (1956/57), a series of electronic pieces elaborated in technical scripts. Of these pieces, the "Geometrische Patterns" seemed to be the most completed one, ready for realization.
