Abstract
Scleral fixation of intraocular implants has increased significantly in recent years. Newer techniques allow minimally invasive fixation of common intraocular implants originally intended for the capsular bag. In addition, a new artificial lens implant developed specifically for scleral fixation using a small incision technique has also made it to market.
