Abstract

This article deconstructs the plot of the film "Bolívar Sinfonía Tropikal" (1980) by Diego Rísquez, fragmenting and describing the scenes and the sequence of all the events related to the most important matters of the life of Simón Bolívar that were re-imagined and mise en scène by Venezuelan film director, Diego Rísquez. The article also includes a set of original photographs from Diego Rísquez's personal archive.
