'La subjectivité comme stratégie narrative'

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingChapterpeer-review

Abstract

Contemporary narrative strategies often are reactivated older techniques. This is the case with the "I voice" which made film noir famous in the forties and fifties. Comparing older subjective narrative structures to newer ones made it possible to show that cinema developes itself less by destructing its own codes than by progessive shifting or sudden breaks.
