Abstract
Our contribution examines the internal didactic transposition - the interface between the knowledge to be taught presented in FSL textbooks and the actual acquired knowledge of the learners - of verbal finiteness, which is the gradual use of finite forms (conjugated verbs) versus non-finite forms (infinitives and past participles) by FSL learners from secondary schools in Flanders, the Dutch-speaking region of Belgium. The description of these transformations will enable us to infer how learners acquire the knowledge in question.
