Abstract
My contribution to the catalogue of the Triennal in Bruges. Theme of the exposition is ‘Liquid city’, a theme inspired bij the work of the Brittish-Polisch sociologist and philosopher Zygmunt Bauman. My chapter in the book gives an overwiew of his thinking on liquid modernity and how Bauman sees an important role in the context of this kindvof modernity.
