Manufacturing Good Citizens: A Critical Assessment of De-Radicalization Strategies

Abstract

In this paper we review de-radicalization strategies in Belgium (with a specific focus on Flanders) and the prevailing assumptions on which these strategies are based. We discern two dominant perspectives on de-radicalization and discuss their consequences.
