Abstract

This article reconstructs the concept of quintuplicity in Fichte's second course on his philosophy held in 1804. It attempts at filling the conceptual lacuna in Fichte's manuscript about the internal structure of the quintuplicity of self-consciousness by referring to other published works and manuscripts of Fichte of the same period.
