This contribution analyses Belgium’s role and responsibility in the context of the Rwandan genocide, and more specifically the responsibility of Belgium (and the Belgian UN peacekeeepers) for the death of two thousand men, women, and children who had sought refuge at the camp of the Belgian UN peacekeepers in Kigali but who were abandoned by them
