Abstract
This article introduces the special issue of the journal Volkskunde dedicated to the subject of safeguarding intangible cultural
heritage in relation with museums. Guest editors Marc Jacobs, Jorijn Neyrinck and Evdokia Tsakiridis situate the different contributions
