Abstract
Re-analysis of a scaraboid seal from the 2004 Sidon excavations mentionning a ruler Djedkare (?), Beloved of Seth/Ba'al, Lord of the Land of 'I3y. The authors provide new evidence strongly suggesting that the land in question is to be sought in the Akkar Plain of northern Lebanon and to be identified with Sinuhe's Qedem.
