Synchronization of chaos in mutually coupled VCSELs: numerical study

Abstract

This work investigates numerically the impact of the polarization mode competition and the frequency detuning between the two lasers on the chaos synchronization of mutually coupled VCSELs. To this aim , a simple rate-equation model of single transverse-mode VCSEL is implemented.
