Abstract

This report will highlight the accomplishments of the CONAM Chemical Policy Working Group. In particular, the outcome of the Stakeholder Workshop held in 2006 and the learnings derived from application of the Calculator. Together these provide an insight into the likely impact of REACH upon laboratory animal use, as well as allowing the identification of actions that may potentially ameliorate and reduce this impact if implemented by the key actors.
